M.S. Elementary Education and Rank I Curriculum and Supervision Eastern Kentucky University
My dream as a child was to become a teacher. I later found out in my life, being a teacher was my calling. God blessed me with 30 years in a classroom for the Pulaski County Schools, 29 years at Shopville Elementary. Along with my years in the classroom, God has used me as Children's Director at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and as VBS Director. God has provided me with a different way to work with others through Targeted Case Management and tutoring children from grades Kindergarten - 8. I truly enjoy working with others and building relationships and I know God has opened this door for me to share my faith as I work with others.

I like helping people understand their individual insurance policy guidelines and explain how it works to get the maximum benefit. My husband, Mike, and I have been members of Beacon Hill Baptist Church for over 30 years. We love our church and the message of hope that is brings to our community. My Christian passion is to encourage young people/parents to be strong in their faith regardless of the world around them and that the way you live your day to day life matters. I also strive to promote the sanctity of life even in the unborn.
